What Maintenance is Required?
Instaspace recommend that you apply two coats of Sikkens external varnish on purchase of building and re-varnish every 4-5 years.
Do I need Planning Permission?
All Instaspace Log Cabins are 25 sq. metres (270 sq.ft.) or under in floor area.
This means that they fall exempt of planning permission.
You may need to check with your local authority if you have any other garden buildings.
Will my Instaspace Log Cabin be warm?
Our Log Cabins retain 40% more heat than block/brick buildings.
What Foundations are required?
The most important thing is that the site is level. We recommend that you strip sod and 125mm sub-soil off area of building. Install 125mm compact stone. Supply approx 24 No. (depending on size of cabin) 4" solid blocks which we will place to suit floor beams of building when building arrives.
What Deposit is required?
10% must be paid on date of Order
Balance to be paid on date of completion.
