What We Did

The Department of Education and Skills Commissioned Instaspace Modular to deliver 5 number general classrooms, 1 number Art room, 1 number Technical Graphics room, 1 number Science Lab, 1 number Home Economics room, with associated prep rooms, toilets and circulation space for Gaelcholáiste an Phiarsaigh on the grounds of Loreto Abbey in Rathfarnham D14.

The structure of the building has allowed for the conversion to a 2 storey building at a later stage.

The building has a plastisol steel exterior finish, which was then covered with a timber cedar cladding, delivery, installation and completion of all associated site works, within 7.5 weeks.

Key Points

Supply and commission 850m2 modular building.
The building’s interior was decorated according to our client’s specification and included internal finishes and floor coverings.
Supply and fit fixed furniture for the home economics room, science room with prep area, technical graphics room and arts and crafts room including store, all as per DOE standard fit out and guidelines.
A total mechanical and electrical fit-out, plus commissioning, testing and certification was also undertaken.
Provision of a new bicycle shelters. Instaspace Modular supplied all traffic management and road opening licences.
The exterior works also included ramps, landings, steps and footpaths with appropriate handrails, tactile paving’s, all to comply with part M of the current building regulations
